Sorry for the delay folks, it's been a busy year so far. We are pleased to announce that the Fishermen Powwow will once again take place at the Waterford Green on July 1st. Grand Entry will start at 10:00 a.m. The sunrise ceremony will commence at 6:00 a.m. We are working on providing and outdoor breakfast for all those in attendance. Contact Katie @625-9993 for vendor spots.
We are pleased that we will be co-hosting the fireworks with the City of Miramichi. This will take place in Chatham as they have last year.

Had the privilege of hearing Jordan Matchett for the first time at our Fishermen Powwow this summer. He was a pleasant surprise and a refreshing change from the same ( although talented) 2 or 3 acts that we hear more often around the city. An old soul in a young musicians body, I am surprised and embarrassed for our community that we don't showcase this type of talent at more venues/festivals etc. I hope we get to hear more from this young man in the future. Great work Jordan Matchett ! ... See MoreSee Less

Jordan Matchett🥰

As the celebrations come to an end I wish to express to everyone how humbled I am that so many of you came to participate in our 10th Annual Fishermen Powwow. The kind words and the smiling friendly faces was great for the spirit. The day could not have been possible without the hard work of Darren, Roger,Chris and Katie.
A huge thank you to Heritage Canada and the province of NB for their support ! We'lalioq.
