Hi All. As part of the City's contribution to our event, they have graciously loaned us the chairs to keep us comfortable during the day. We seem to have misplaced just two chairs. if anyone has discovered they accidentally taken one home, please let me know and I will pick it up. Our event is costly enough ( free to everyone) and there are no funds to pay for them other than out of pocket. Please check your equipment from yesterday and let me know if you can help:).

OK! I have recovered from my powwow hangover! I want to thank everyone on our team who worked so hard to make it a huge success. I was humbled by the amazing turnout at the Sunrise ceremony. I think all can agree that it is a beautiful, healing event. Chris always helps us realise that we need to enjoy our friends, family and surroundings. However, heal ourselves too. Thank you to the drummers and singers. They sounded awesome. The dancers were very talented, beautiful ( and tough), it was a warm day. Most of all, thank all of you who attended. Everyone was very friendly, respectful, and stayed really long ,enjoying the surroundings. Thank you to our sponsors, and a huge thank you to the city for their support.

Everything ran smoothly and there was a steady display of outstanding talents! I love bringing my mom every year, but this year was extra special as I had my grandson and good friend join us. We are still talking about it!!! Thank you for sharing Indigenous culture with everyone 🧡. Wela'lin
